Almondigas..Pork with Vermicelli

1 egg
1 pound ground pork
1 tablespoon chopped celery
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2
cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 cups water
1 bundle vermicelli or misua
(sold in Oriental food stores)

Beat egg. Add the pork, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into
1-inch balls. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil and add pork balls. Add
vermicelli or misua and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.

Serves 4.
