Fritong Pinsec....Fried Wonton

Filling

1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 pound shrimps, shelled,
deveined and chopped
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1 cup finely chopped bamboo
shoots (canned)
1/2 cup chopped dried Chinese
mushrooms, soaked in water
for I hour before chopping and
stems discarded
1/2 cup finely chopped and
drained water chestnuts
1 egg
2 tablespoons cornstarch
salt and freshly ground pepper to
taste
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup cooking oil

Combine all ingredients except cooking oil in a mixing bowl. Put I tablespoon of
the mixture on each wrapper. Seal wrapper by folding diagonally. Deep fry in
cooking oil until golden brown on all sides. Serve with sweet-sour sauce.
